A dress is a go-to outfit for hot and sunny days. That is why every girl craves to have a fashionable dress each summer season. Finished school. What now?

 

After my last exam I was so relieved. This meant that I have finally finished school. No more school, no more homework, no more tests. Though, at the same time I was extremely sad to leave school friends. But after that last exam feeling of freedom really hit me. After all intensive studying for exams it was finally over. I think we all had this feeling. That is why we spontaneously organised a mini road trip to the beautiful town Trakai which is within 80 km from us. Trakai has magnificent castle surrounded by lake. There we rented water bikes to explore the area. We had so much fun! Later we decided to visit this place nearby called Uzutrakis palace. We were amazed by this stunning place! If you are visiting Trakai in Lithuania be sure to go there.

Our trip is over. So what now? As for me I know my answer. My goal is to be accepted into medical school. Though, now I'm waiting in suspense because exam results will determine that. I hope for the best but I know that it will be how it shoud be. I know one thing that I will not give up on my dreams.

As for now I'm excited about my new job. I work at the hospital's children emergency department as a helper. I am really grateful to be there because I can learn a lot being in the hospital's environment.

For those who also have finished school this year like me I have an advice. If you know what you want to do in life then go for it! But if you haven't decided for sure and you still have some doubts then don't choose your future career irresponsibly. Take your time to get to know yourself, travel, volunteer, read books,take part in various events. This is how you will find out purpose in life. Don't rush things! Better later than never :)

What To Wear For a Job Interview

There is a saying that we greet by the appearance but lead by the intelligence. That is why it's important to choose appropriate clothes for an interview. 

It's summer time and many youngsters are looking for a summer job. I thought it would be a good idea to talk about looks for a job interview. 

If your work is going to be at the office, during the interview you need to wear smart clothes. I suggest a white or any other plain colour shirt and black slacks. For shoes you can wear what ever you prefer either high heels or flats. As for accessories you can wear simple earrings and of course put a watch on your wrist.

Though, if you're going to an interview of barista, cashier, waiter or other job which is not a white - collar one, you can wear less formal clothes. I advise you to choose black slacks as well and the top can even be a sweater or a blouse. Pick plain colours. For accessories you can wear modest statement necklace and basically anything you like. Choose shoes you are comfortable with. Take inspiration from my photos above. Though, I wasn't going to any interview I thought this outfit is definitely suitable for it. 

Another tip from me is not to put on too much makeup. Just be modest, courteous, dress appropriate and everything will go smoothly!

The Dress

Do you have a dress which stands out from the rest of the dresses you have? The one you want to wear only for special occasions, the one you cherish...

This dress I can describe as the one. It was bought from MATSOUR'I. Designer from Germany makes these gorgeous dresses which you should definitely check out. What can I say, beautiful designs and high quality! All the dresses are chic and elegant looking.

The dress I have is in navy blue color with red and yellow flowery print. What I like is that flowers are a bit bigger but they do not fully cover the whole dress. It is a tea-length type with three-quarter sleeves. The fabric of the dress is thicker than of a simple dress. The main material is cotton. 
I call this dress royal. Not because how the dress looks like but because of the feeling I get wearing it. I feel queen-like. Maybe the model of the dress forces me to straighten my back. Anyway, I like feeling this way. Not an everyday sense.

The question is how long will the dress be special. I believe, that as the time passes this kind of dress will be replaced by other extraordinary dress. Which is not a bad thing because with each dress we create different special memories. There are plenty of ordinary clothes that you can feel happy about how they look on you. Cherish the dress because of its memories not because you look good with it in the mirror.

When I opened the package it cheered me up right away. Hello Autumn! || OOTD

I am not a fan of autumn when it's cold and rainy. Though I don't mind this season when the weather is a bit chilly and you can wear cozy and comfy clothes to keep you warm. For this outfit I chose a casual look with some accents.

I'm wearing top with slits on the side, leather jacket, jeans and sneakers. I have this black leather jacket maybe for three years now and I just can't let go of it. You can basically style it with anything. Always when autumn comes I know that it is time to wear my leather jacket! As usual I like to wear boyfriend style jeans. I can freely move and feel comfortable in them. White Converse sneakers also goes with everything and looks great in every outfit. 

To finish the look, I took some accessories to spice up my outfit. I'm wearing this copper necklace and watch. Recently I became obsessed with copper colour jewelry. This colour looks chic but not too fancy. I guess that is why I like it so much.

Free in poppy field

Hello lovelies! You may ask how I ended up in this field. Well, it happened accidentally. My mom and I were on the rode going home when we saw this spectacular view. She pulled over the car and we got out to admire this scenery. It wasn't only poppies but the sun was going down also. The moment was perfect. 

We couldn't miss this chance to take few shots and it lead to a mini photo shoot. However, I didn't have my camera with me so we had to take photos with a phone. 

I was wearing this brown floral dress. What I love about it that this dress reminds me of vintage style. I usually wear it when I want to be different. I also like that the bottom of this dress is like skater skirt so you can feel comfortable in it and still look fabulous. The back of it has a pretty big cut out. I bought it a while ago at Stradivarius. 

If you are able to notice my shoes, I'm wearing these gladiator sandals. They perfectly match the dress because of this shiny copper colour. I find gladiators quite nice for summer time. You can feel comfy in them and spice up your outfit by wearing something like this. They were bought on sale at Zara also not at this time.

What to wear to a baseball game?

Hi baseball fans from all over the world! If you follow MLB news you may know that the sport event has already started. The 2015 Major League Baseball season began on April 5 with a game between the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. You can enjoy this sport event the whole summer, because it will end on October 4. Unfortunately I can't call myself a baseball fan. It is not a popular sport in my country. Although, if had an opportunity, I would probably go and see it.

Is it worth buying Timberland boots? + How to clean them

Hello there! I am that kind of person who wears out shoes quickly. It's almost a one season thing for me. Though, I have few pairs of shoes which are indestructible. One of them is Timberland shoes. I have been wearing these for 3 years now. I think I have hit my shoe wearing record. 

I think many of you know these shoes. They were pretty popular and maybe they still are. I can't say much. Mostly I don't believe that some kind of popular and expensive brand is better than a cheap one, but in this case brand is worth the money. I bought them long time ago just because they seemed nice to me. Now I don't regret paying a lot of money at all. They got me through the worst weather.

You can basically mach them with any outfit. This light brown colour looks simple but a bit odd. Oh, I forgot to mention that these Timberland boots are for winter time and they have white fur inside. Sometimes one shoe tongue flips to outside, but I am like whatever and leave it like that. 

More over is that Timberland boots are the most comfortable shoes ever. I can walk and walk in them no matter what. 

Finally what I love about them is that they are waterproof. That is such a great feature. When it's winter and there are banks of snow outside, you can feel safe, because these shoes will keep your feet dry. Also Timberland boots are lifesavers when it comes to rainy weather. 

However, a year after buying these boots they started making this squeaky sound. Though, this sound wasn't annoying, so I didn't pay any attention. 

Now my Timberland boots look a bit worn out and they make that squeaky sound. 

Despite that I still wear them. Time to time I clean them with different methods. Overall they look pretty great. 

How to clean suede Timberland boots:

1. Use suede cleaning moose. If special cleaner for Timberland boots is too expensive for you, choose a simple suede cleaner.

2. Use dish soap. If suede cleaner does not work for you, take a sponge and on the wet shoe rub dirty areas with dish soap. This is an amazing idea which helped my shoes a lot! It makes them look like new! In my pictures you can see my 3 year old shoes after cleaning them with dish soap.
