Essentials that got me through hectic week

Hola lovely readers! I am so sorry for not blogging this week. I had a busy week filled with lots of tests and homework. I know that the week is not done, but tomorrow we have a day off from school.
I thought I can share my ways of coping with staying healthy, active and upbeat.
I know that sometimes it can be hard to focus when you are tired and you just want to drop every single work. There are ways to concentrate and cheer yourself up. I've found mine. They may not work for everybody, but I noticed that they help me a lot. If you are not familiar with these methods, maybe you need to discover your own. If you haven't, soon or later you will.
Now let's get into my essentials:

1.Green Tea

I heard so many great things about green tea, but I recently found out that it wakes you up. Then I started looking for more information about it. So I learned that green tea actually contains caffeine just like coffee, except it's way healthier. Also by drinking this tea you can loose weight and it can lower risk of many diseases.
When I began drinking green tea in the morning I could immediately notice the effect. It got me alert for the whole morning. I could concentrate better during first lessons. I highly recommend drinking green tea for those who have hard time getting up in the morning.

2. Water

It's vital to drink water. It has so many benefits. For example, it helps to flush harmful toxins out of your body. I like to drink water as it is healthy and I can loose some weight. Though it also helps me to concentrate. When I am studying late I simply fill up my mason jar with cold water and drink it while learning. It helps me to stay awake and to remember things.

3. Headphones

When I am studying long hours it becomes boring and tiring. I need few minutes to listen to some music. I put my headphones on and I completely shut down from outside world. It helps me to stay motivated and keeps my good mood. I really like these headphone, because they isolate external sounds and this minimalistic design looks nice.

4. Blanket

Blanket is always my essential when it's winter time, because it gets cold in my home. I literally wrap myself up in it. Blanket makes me feel safe, calms me down. I usually study and even do my homework in it.

5. Scented candle

This week I was burning this scented candle with apples and cinnamon while studying. I almost finished it. I don't know why, but when I am studying I need my environment to be cozy. That nice smell just keeps me going.

I hope it was helpful to you.
What are your essentials which help you to get through busy time?

  4. Oh your jar is so cute! I don't really like green tea when it's hot (which is strange because I drink an embarrassing amount of hot tea daily), but I swear it's delicious cold. I just pop it in the fridge for an hour and it's fantastic.
Try it in the summer, it saved me during a summer exam session! ;)
